Pendulum with witness chamber. A great classic of dowsing.

The "Mermet" pendulums owe their name to Abbot Mermet, nicknamed the "Prince of Dowsers," who was considered one of the greatest dowsers in the world. Abbot Mermet practiced the art of the pendulum and achieved spectacular results as well as international renown as a master dowser. This art earned him the recognition of eminent dignitaries in the scientific world. His simple and effective method is now applied by all generations of dowsers. He is at the origin of thermal springs, mineral water sources, metal mines and has helped to find many missing people. He was the first dowser to take an interest in medical dowsing; thanks to his pendulum, he was able to detect the specific illnesses from which people suffered. It was he who had the idea of creating the first witness pendulum. This very popular pendulum owes its name to Abbé Mermet, a pioneer in the field of “ground medicine” and wave forms.
